At this year’s Memphis Business Journal Small Business Awards, Wilson Public Relations founder and CEO Beth Wilson received a well-earned spotlight – earning the title of Executive of the Year in a room full of the city’s most accomplished entrepreneurs and small business professionals.
We’ve always known what a force Beth is, but watching her take the stage as the only woman finalist in the category, we’re reminded of just how powerful it is when women lead and lead with heart.
The judges described Beth as “authentic, community-focused, and deeply committed to both people and purpose.” They recognized her for the way she balances growth and grace, and for how she’s guided our team through the fast-paced world of public relations with a steady, strategic hand. Those words ring true, and every day we witness Beth’s work: She listens, adapts, and models the kind of integrity that pushes us all to do our best.
Beyond any individual recognition, these awards were a tribute to the small business community that makes Memphis what it is. Beth launched Wilson Public Relations in 2021 with a vision to create an agency rooted in relationships rather than transactions, and that vision has continued to guide our growth and our work.
